Your search preferences let you control how GOOD Search behaves — which provider to use, what language to search in, and more. Settings are saved to your account and apply across all your devices.
Open your preferences via Settings → Search Preferences.
Choose which search index your results come from. GOOD Search (default) offers the full feature set. Mojeek and Staan provide alternative independent indexes for web search.

The language of pages returned in results. Set this if you want results primarily in a specific language regardless of your location.
Controls whether explicit content is filtered:
Limit results to a recent time window. Useful for news, software updates, or any fast-moving topic:
Switch between metric and imperial for unit conversions and distance display. Available when using the GOOD Search provider.
The Local search tab can use your location to find nearby places. Location sharing is always opt-in — you enable it per search by clicking the pin icon, and your coordinates are used only for that search and never stored.
You can also type a place name in the Where field instead of sharing your GPS position.
