Plans & Billing

Free access, the trial period, and paid subscription plans for GOOD Search.

About GOOD SearchSet up GOODHelp CenterLegal
Privacy PolicyTerms of ServiceContact

GOOD Search is funded by subscriptions, not advertising. Every plan — including free access — includes the same features. The only difference between plans is the number of searches included per billing cycle.

Free access without an account

You can use GOOD Search without signing up. Anonymous access gives you up to 3 searches per day — enough to try the product before deciding whether to create an account.

Free trial (14 days)

When you create an account, you automatically start a 14-day free trial. No payment method required.

During the trial you get:

  • 100 searches
  • 1,000 autosuggests
  • 200 spell corrections

Quotas reset on the monthly anniversary of your account creation date, not on the 1st of the month.

Once the trial ends — or if you use up your quota — you'll be asked to choose a subscription plan to continue searching.

Paid plans

All three plans include the same features. The difference is the price, which lets you choose what you can afford and how much you want to support the project.

PlanMonthlyYearlySearches per cycle
FAIR€2/month€19/year3,000
IMPACT€5/month€48/year3,000
KARMA€10/month€96/year3,000

Yearly plans save roughly 20% compared to paying monthly.

FAIR is for people with limited resources — students, low income, anyone who just needs a working search engine at minimal cost.

IMPACT is the standard plan. At €5/month you cover the cost of running the service and contribute to climate and social impact projects.

KARMA is for people who want to provide maximum support for the mission.

All paid plans reset their quota on the monthly anniversary of your account creation date.

What counts toward your quota

  • Search — each web, image, news, video, or local search
  • Autosuggest — suggestions shown as you type
  • Spell correction — automatic query corrections

Wikipedia infoboxes don't count toward your quota.

Checking your usage

See your current usage under Settings → Billing in your account.

Changing and cancelling your plan

You can change or cancel your plan at any time in your account settings.

Changing your plan (upgrade or downgrade) takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Once the period ends, you'll receive a prompt to complete payment for the new plan, which activates it.

Cancelling means your plan runs until the end of the paid period, then access reverts to trial-expired status.

There are no hidden fees or cancellation penalties.
