Set Up as Homepage

You can set GOOD directly as your browser homepage and default search engine. Find step-by-step instructions for your browser below.

Homepage URL: www.good-search.org/start

Safari

  1. Select Safari > Settings > General in the top left of the screen.
  2. Next to "New windows open with" and "New tabs open with", select "Homepage".
  3. Enter www.good-search.org/start next to "Homepage".

Google Chrome

  1. Click the "More" icon (three vertical dots) in the top right, then "Settings".
  2. In the "Appearance" section, enable "Show Home button".
  3. Select the second option and enter www.good-search.org.

Firefox

  1. Open the browser and go to www.good-search.org.
  2. Drag the tab onto the "Home" button and release it.
  3. Click "Yes".

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the "More" icon (three horizontal dots) in the top right, then "Settings".
  2. Scroll down to "Open with" and select "A specific page or pages".
  3. Open the list and select "Custom". Remove the current homepage by clicking "X".
  4. Enter www.good-search.org next to "Enter a web address" and click the plus icon.
